09 Sep Zach Elbouzedi Shines in Ireland Win
Last week we told all our readers about some upcoming matches for the Republic of Ireland’s under-19 squad, including Zach Elbouzedi, Jay Lunney.
In an impressive 3-1 victory against Austria Zach Elbouzedi scored an impressive goal putting the Boys in Green 2-1 ahead in the first half, following Thomas Byrne’s equaliser. Elbouzedi currently plies his trade in England for West Bromwich Albion’s youth side.
Elbouzedi has enjoyed a quietly strong year, growing in statute among those who watch both West Brom and Ireland youth sides regularly. Alongside Elbouzedi’s fine performance Leahy played the full game, while Lunney was an unused sub.
Tuesday’s 3-1 victory was only days after their 1-0 victory against the same Austria side on Sunday, proving a wholly successful weekend of football for both Tom Mohan’s Republic of Ireland under-19 side and indeed our DB Sports Tours starlets involved in the Irish set-up.
Our work with our players here at DB Sports Tours is constant: during the summer we joined up with Kickstart Fitness, who provided each players with a personal training programme, keeping them in peak fitness in preparation for pre-season.
Above all it has been a fantastic couple of months on the player agency side of the business here at DB Sports Tours. We would like to thank all our readers for your continued support for all of our players chasing their dreams.
For more information on these players’ growing careers you can keep an eye on our busy news blog here.
