The Manchester Academy Super Cup 2018 – Register Your Team Today

BALANCING our work between football tours, tournaments and player agency is not easy here at DB Sports, but it is one which we have built our business on. Today we move away from recent player agency news, and on to a fantastic football tournament – The Manchester Academy Super Cup.

The Manchester Academy Super Cup will take place over the May Bank Holiday in 2018 (Saturday 5 – Sunday 6) at Egerton FC’s ground. Egerton FC – our partnering club – will provide fantastic facilities to ensure all participants enjoy a thoroughly enjoyable tournament experience from beginning to end.

The tournament is for boy’s teams from under-9 to under-12 age groups. To date, Accrington Stanley, Oldham and Bury FC are the confirmed clubs taking part in next year’s tournament. Previous iterations of the Manchester Academy Super Cup saw the likes of Arsenal Soccer Schools, Manchester City, Chester City, Pro Soccer Academy, Stockport FC and Blackburn Rovers.

The will be a two-fold tournament, with both a shield and a cup to vie for. Whilst the true attraction for the Manchester Academy Super Cup is potential glory – participants can partake in extra activities if they wish, such as a tour of Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium, or training with a UK academy club.

Not only that however; our extensive history of providing football tours means we can send your group to watch a Premier League game too – either West Bromwich Albion vs. Spurs, or Stoke City vs. Crystal Palace (Subject to availability and Fixture Schedule).

If you are interested in taking part in the Manchester Academy Super Cup then contact our office here. Interest for this tournament is expected to be very high so do not hesitate in registering. While you’re here, why not read the rest of our regularly updated blog here.
