14 Oct Mare Nostrum Tournament Seeking Girls’ Irish Side for 2017
Given our broad range of team tours and sports trips here at DB Sports Tours it can often be hard to keep up to date with our vast array packages and more importantly which one is perfect for your group.
During the summer we touched upon our latest packages – and within that was the Mare Nostrum Cup. Taking place over the Easter break annually the Mare Nostrum Cup is set in our prime overseas facilities – the Futbol Salou Sports Complex, in Spain.
This year we have an exciting and exclusive opportunity for one girl’s team for the Mare Nostrum Cup, taking place from April 13-16. This offer is invite only and age-groups allowed to apply to open between under-15 and under-19. Furthermore, approval is subject to committee approval to ensure a high quality of play at the tournament.
While the tournament itself will be played at the Futbol Salou Sports Complex, which is headed by former Espanyol youth coach Albert Vinas, accommodation will be set at the picturesque Cambrils Park and Resort.
Cambrils Park and Resort aligns affordability with luxury. All the necessary amenities are provided on site at Cambrils Park and Resort, including a number of swimming pools, tennis courts, small five a-side football pitches, table tennis area, a number of shops and much more.
Prices are this package are either €369 per person for three nights at the Cambrils Park and Resort (excluding flights), or €409 per person (excluding flights). The Mare Nostrum Cup is a stable of our work here at DB Sports Tours, having previously sent a number of Irish teams over to the tournament including Knocklyon United and the West Waterford East Cork under-12 select squad.
Robbie Maher of Park Celtic previously spoke of his happiness with the quality of the facilities at the Cambrils Park Resort: “I’m very happy with the facilities at Futbol Salou and also at Cambrils Park. It was a great time to hold the tournament for the kids. DB Sports Tours were excellent from start to finish. I highly recommended taking part in one of their many fantastic tournaments.”
