30 Nov Kildare League’s Finest to Make Portugal Trip
A Kildare & District Underage League (KDUL) select side for the famous Kennedy Cup will make the trip of a lifetime to Portugal, in conjunction with DB Sports Tours. The Under-14 select side will spend seven days in a training camp, ahead of the 2015 Kennedy Cup.
Between January 2nd-9th the lads will be put through their paces in order to be fit and ready to deliver silverware for the forthcoming Kennedy Cup to be held in the famous Limerick University next summer.
The KDUL select side will look to take the Dublin District Schoolboy League’s (DDSL) honour, as they won the honour last season when they overcame the Waterford Schoolboy League 2-1 in the final.
The KDUL side will stay in the Alfamar Resort, situated in Baixinha, Portugal. Whilst at the camp the lads will be set to test their skills against professional Portuguese side Portimao.
