18 Mar Joe Redmond Signs for Birmingham City FC
DB Sports Tours are elated to announce the news that Joe Redmond has signed with Birmingham City FC. The Dublin native has played for a host of notable schoolboy clubs in Dublin, and has finally got the move he deserved, at the West Midlands club.
Redmond (16) previously played for St. Joseph’s Boys AFC, wherein he was very successful winning 2 All Ireland’s and a number of DDSL premier league titles. An Irish underage international and DDSL league representative and Kennedy Cup winner, Redmond has been tipped for bigger things from quite a young age.
Indeed, Redmond was part of a fantastic Crumlin United side in his early days who were said to be the best in Ireland at their age-group at the time if not one of the best ever sides in recent years. It’s not just that though, there are other eye opening family connections which point toward his road to success.
Theres pedigree in the Redmond household with top rated cousins with the Republic of Ireland international and Reading FC stalwart Stephen Quinn, while Stephen’s brothers Alan (notably Ipswich Town), and Keith (notably Sheffield United) also had hugely successful professional football careers.
Redmond is the latest example of DB Sports helping these boys achieve their dreams. Previously we have seen the progression of players such as Noe Baba, Darragh Leahy, Adam McDonnell, Zac Elbouzedi to name but a few.
DB Sports Tours would like to wish Joe the very best of luck upon his move to Birmingham City FC, and are looking forward to seeing him progress throughout the ranks with the Brummies.
