This state-of-the-art football complex in the seaside town of Salou – just outside Barcelona – is one of the up-and-coming football destinations in Europe – and one we feel the Irish game will become very familiar with in the near future.

Just a matter of minutes from Reus Airport – which welcomes flights from Ireland on a daily basis – Futbol Salou is Spanish Football Federation and Catalan Football Federation approved.

With four incredible grass and two artificial 11-a-side pitches (and still expanding) that are of UEFA quality and unlike anything any amateur player in Ireland will have ever played on – the complex is a must-visit for any ambitious team/club.

In April every year Futbol Salou hosts the prestigious Mare Nostrum Cup – which has been expanded to welcome 120 teams from around Catalonia, Spain and the world in 2014.

DB Sports Tours wants to send Ireland’s first representatives to this competition, which will see 2,000 players compete in 300 games from seven-a-side through 11-a-side and into the female game.

But that is not all by a long shot – we are also very excited to unveil other exciting packages to Futbol Salou.

The Masterclass sessions with Albert – a former mentor of Barcelona boss Tito Vilanova – in particular are not to be missed.
Friendly games with local sides can be arranged for the evening – and that is just the football side.

With team tours or football tournaments to choose from, you will be introduced to the impressive facility at Futbol Salou, sample the hospitality and relaxation at the beautiful Cambrils Park resort and enjoy a great weekend with other coaches.
Futbol Salou offers Irish clubs/players/coaches a once-in-lifetime opportunity to experience an environment normally only reserved for professionals and we believe it will become a must-visit destination very soon.
