Florida Celtic girls enjoyed a fantastic trip across Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland with DB Sports Tours!
The girls from Florida Celtic have been able to explore Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland, taking in some of the famous sights both countries have to offer, train with some of the finest coaches and play against some of the best teams from both shores!
While in Scotland, the girls got to visit the home of Scotlands biggest clubs, Rangers and the current treble winners, Celtic, take in a training session with Celtic coaches in the clubs official training centre before taking on the strongest girls team in the country, Glasgow City Girls. The girls put on a fantastic display, narrowly losing 4-3.
The girls also got to take in the beautiful cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh. In Glasgow, the girls got to view some of the stunning scenery in the Glasgow Green and Peoples Palace while walking through the streets and taking in the culture of the capital.
While in Edinburgh, the girls got to witness the city from the Edinburgh Castle, an amazing view overlooking the city. They got to meet some of the locals and learn a lot more about the city that inspired JK Rowling and the architecture for Harry Potter movies.
After exploring Scotland, they departed for Northern Ireland!
During their time in Northern Ireland, they trained with the Northern Ireland U16s Coach Gerry McKee and took on Northern Ireland U16s. Between displaying their footballing exploits, the girls got to explore Northern Ireland. They got to tour Belfast, learn about the countries history and visit the famous Giants Causeway.
The girls then headed south and took on two of Irelands best girls teams: The MGL Regional Development Squad and All Ireland Champions Peamount United.
The team were brought on a city tour of Dublin where they got to see the best of Dublin famous landmarks! They also took in a live game when they attended Shamrock Rovers vs Derry City where they got to meet Shamrock Rovers and Irish International Jack Byrne before enjoying a meal in the famous Merry Ploughboy!
