DB Sports Tours’ global approach to business have become increasingly clear over the last 18 months, wherein our work has not just reached throughout Europe, but now further afield toward the US and beyond.

Clearly however we have looked to expand upon the US market and have begun to grow relationships with a number of clubs, in this case FC Dallas. Indeed, having previously worked with FC Dallas on a number of occasions we are proud to announce another venture; sending the FC Dallas under-12 side to Spain to compete in the Fallas Ciudad de Burriana tournament.

The Fallas Ciudad de Burriana tournament will be held at San Fernando, Spain, from March 17 – 19. The tournament will feature of number of world renowned clubs, including the likes of FC Barcelona and KRC Genk. FC Dallas will feature in a group alongside FC Barcelona, UD Lavente and C.F. Salesianos.

The Fallas Ciudad de Burriana tournament will look together some of the world’s elite footballers, with a specifically Spanish vibe. Matches will be played seven-a-side. What is particularly of note meanwhile is how subs will be unlimited, with subbed players able to come back on at the wish of their coach.

There will be 16 participating teams in which will be divided into four groups of four. Furthermore, the top two qualified on each group will qualify to play the quarters, the semi-final and final. The finals will be played in a Cup system; in case of a tie the winner will be decided by penalties without extra-time.

Finally regarding the format, the third and fourth place teams of each group will play within each other to determine the qualification of each team from 8th to 16th position.

This upcoming trip for FC Dallas continues to rich lineage of work between DB Sports Tours and the US based club. FC Dallas have worked previously with DB Sports Tours on a number of occasions, including the FC Dallas under-10 side competing in the Iscar Cup last Spring.
