30 Nov Edenderry Town 15’s Head to England
This week it has been confirmed that Edenderry Town F.C. Under-15’s will be going on a fantastic trip to England, thanks to DB Sports Tours. Tom Glynn, Edenderry 15’s manager was looking for a tour to help test his team and expose his players to some of UK’s finest clubs.
The trip will see the lads play two fantastic matches against top sides, while also getting to take in the atmosphere of a top Premier League clash.
Edenderry Town F.C. Under-15’s are a squad full of undoubted quality; many of their players were on the Kildare & District Underage League (KDUL) Kennedy Cup side last season and most recently their hard work was recognized by some caps in the Hibernia Cup.
The trip will begin with a match against Coventry City’s Under-15 side on Friday night. The lads will need to stay fresh though, with another stand-out tie and long day ahead for the Saturday.
On Saturday morning they will meet Leicester City’s Under-15 side in a highly anticipated game. Two top fixtures in two days will test the lads against their UK counterparts.
