Ireland’s leading football tour operator, DB Sports Tours, has just been announced as the winner of the Excellence In Business award in the Sports Tourism category at the Irish Enterprise Awards 2026.
Hosted and selected by the EU Business News media organization, this independently nominated award recognizes the extensive and excellent work carried out by DB Sports Tours in the inbound and outbound soccer club travel markets.

The Sports Tourism award for DB Sports Tours comes as sister company DB Sports International Soccer Academy continues their intake program to their Transition Year program under former Ireland underage Head Coach Jason Donohue for the 2026-27 season.
DB Sports International Soccer Academy Sporting Director Donohue will host an information session for prospective new Transition Year athletes and their parents at the Sport Ireland Conference Centre in Abbotstown on Sunday, March 8th, at 3pm.
