17 Mar DB Sports Tours Visit USCC in Philadelphia
Growing DB Sports Tours internationally has always been a key tenet for the company. Whilst we always want to maintain a core of our work here in Ireland, making connections abroad has been something we’ve never shied away from.
Last January we visited the United Soccer Coaches Convention in Philadelphia, the second time we have visited the convention. Last year the convention was on the west coast – in Los Angeles, but they most eastward for 2018 and it was another excellent venue for such a fantastic and meaningful occasion.
The purpose for joining this convention is clear: DB Sports Tours wish to grow the business in America. We want to make new connections, and reconnect with old ones. We have thoroughly enjoyed working stateside in recent years: such as our long-standing relationship with FC Dallas, and more recently with the Mayor’s Cup.
One particular meeting made this year was the UPSL (United Premier Soccer League), a new partner we spoke about in a blog here. This was the biggest convention yet, and one which was a completely worthy experience for DB Sports Tours. We hope to make it next for the 2019 edition with new partners and even stronger relationships with current ones.
DB Sports Tours Co-Founder David Berber spoke about the recent trip to the convention in Philadelphia, stating: “It was an excellent few days to catch up with friends from across the pond and to plan some fantastic bespoke soccer tours for our new partners leagues and clubs ”.
