26 Apr DB Sports Tours Sets Sights On Summer Cup 2019
DB Sports Tours are delighted to announce details for the 2019 Summer Cup. The youth football tournament will take place over the course of two weekends this summer (July 27-28 & August 3-4) at the VEC Sports Grounds in Terenure, Dublin.
The Summer Cup is a staple of the DB Sports Tours Calendar, having been running for seven consecutive years. The Summer Cup brings together teams of all abilities from all over Ireland in a truly unique youth football tournament.
As previously mentioned, the Summer Cup involves youth sides that compete in the Northern Ireland Subway Football Association (NIBFA) leagues, while it also hosts sides from the Republic of Ireland, competing in youth leagues south of the border.
To ensure teams of all abilities can take part in this prestigious youth soccer tournament, teams will compete in either the Cup, or the Shield. In the Cup for each age group there were winners from household youth football names such as St. Kevin’s Boys FC, St. Joseph’s Boys AFC, and Shamrock Rovers.
The DB Sports Tours Summer Cup is now the biggest small sided games tournament in Ireland. Excitingly, this year DB Sports Tours have expanded age groups allowed to take part to 11 v 11.
The age groups catered for in the Summer Cup range from Under-8 to Under-14, which spans 5 vs. 5 to 11. vs. 11. For more information on specifics and to book tickets you can visit the following page.
