DB Sports Players go on Trials in England

DB Sports would like to wish a number of our players the best of luck, as they are set to go on trial at a number of illustrious clubs throughout England.

Our work at DB Sports is diverse and often testing, but the payoff is always worth it. Just this week we announced that Joe Redmond has signed for Birmingham City FC, leaving the well-known St. Joseph’s Boys FC and Anto Breslin last week receiving an extension in his professional contract at Wolves with many new successful stories to come in the coming weeks when players put pen to paper.

The group of players will have trials at a number of eye-opening clubs, including the likes of Brighton Hove & Albion, where the Airtricity Premier Division’s Player of 2015 Richie Towell recently signed for.

Others will trial at Coventry, where DB Sports player Darragh Leahy currently plies his trade as captain in their youth ranks. Some boys will head to premier league outfit Stoke City, who DB Sports sister company DB Sports Tours often work with as part of their tours packages.

There will be trials at Southampton FC in the coming weeks, who in recent years have been known to have built the best academy in all of England, having produced players like Luke Shaw, James Ward-Prowse, Theo Walcott, and even Gareth Bale.

Last but certainly not least, there will be boys having trials at European giants Chelsea FC. Chelsea are a world famous club, and in recent years have dominated youth football in England, winning the illustrious FA Youth Cup on several occasions.

These trials are a huge step forward in the development of these boys, and although all may not be successful, should play a key part in their progression as players, and even as young men.

For more information on the development of our players we work with, keep an eye on our busy blog here.
