DB Sports Academy & Tours are heading to Philadelphia to attend the United Soccer Coaches Convention from January 14thto 17th, 2026, as we continue to connect, learn, and grow.
We are excited to announce that our Head of Operations, Darren Scully, will be heading to the United States (USA) in January to attend the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
This convention is arguably the largest gathering of youth soccer coaches, clubs, and organizations worldwide, making it a key opportunity for DB Sports International Soccer Academy and Tours to strengthen connections, discover the latest trends in youth soccer, and enhance our soccer travel experiences from the USA to Europe.
Our International Soccer Academy has recently joined the Rush Soccer brand, the world’s largest soccer club. At DBS Rush Ireland (dbsisa.com), we are proud to partner with Rush Soccer (rushsoccer.com), enabling us to deliver unforgettable soccer tours in Europe for youth players, teams, and coaches looking to compete, learn, and grow.
Attending the United Soccer Coaches Convention ensures that DB Sports International Soccer Academy & Tours stays at the forefront of coaching methodologies, international soccer opportunities, and player development programs, which benefits every team we work with.
“The United Soccer Coaches Convention is always a highlight of my year. I haven’t had the opportunity to attend since 2021, so 2026 will allow me to connect and meet up with old friends, make new connections, and collaborate with partners and partner organizations from not only the United States but around the world,” says Darren.
I am particularly excited to connect with our colleagues from Rush Soccer, along with our friends in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Mayor’s Cup, where DB SportsInternational Soccer Academy & Tours will be bringing three teams to the 2026 edition, two male teams (Under 17s) and one female team (Under 18s).
We also look forward to strengthening our relationship with the Utah Youth Soccer Association, as four more teams will travel on a soccer tour to Barcelona, Spain, later this year as part of their ODP Teams (Olympic Development Program) with DB Sports Tours.
During their soccer tour, they will have the opportunity to train with RCD Espanyol Soccer Coaches at the first team training ground, who are also a partner with DB Sports International Soccer Academy & Tours in Ireland, along with training with FC Barcelona at the first team training ground, Joan Gamper (aka La Masia).
The groups will also attend a La Liga match at Camp Nou and play friendly matches against Spanish Opposition.
If you’re attending the convention, we would love to connect.
Whether it’s over a coffee or at the networking events, it’s a great chance to exchange ideas and explore how DB Sports International Soccer Academy and Tours can continue to create exceptional youth soccer travel experiences.
Stay tuned for updates from the convention as we share insights, lessons, and experiences that will help DB Sports International Soccer Academy and Tours elevate soccer tours, partnerships, and opportunities for players around the world.
