26 Feb Catalan Elite Football Goalkeeper Academy
Catalan Elite are introducing their new Goalkeeping Academy kicking off on March 4th. Edgar Jimenez, a UEFA Pro Licence goalkeeper coach and UEFA A licence outfield holder, will work with our newly launched goalkeeper section. This is an exciting new service which will no doubt benefit the goalkeepers, while also bringing an added dimension to the current outfield players within the academy. Edgar’s knowledge of coaching in Spain and internationally, will bring a new ingredient to goalkeeping in our Academy. With a clear development structure in place, the Goalkeepers in the program will experience working in both specific goalkeeper coaching, while also improving their game understanding, intelligence and playing technique, developing all aspects of their game.
On March 4th their will be a free goalkeeping session. Our goalkeeping academy is aimed at goalkeepers who are born 2001-2009. Keepers born 2006-2009 will train with our Junior Academy program and keepers born 2001-2005 will train in our Senior Academy program.
For goalkeepers born 2006-2009 (Junior Academy) the session will be from 17:00-18:30 and for Goalkeepers Born 2001-2005 (Senior Academy) the session will be from 18:30-20:00 in Parnells multi-sports complex.
We will be taking a maximum of 8 goalkeepers per group, so early registration is recommended.
