About the MEO Rugby Youth Tournament

In just 7 years, The Portugal Rugby Youth Festival has established itself as one of the best and most international youth rugby festivals for clubs and school teams in Europe. It is known most for its excellent organization and standard of play.

The tournament takes place in Lisbon the capital of Portugal at Estádio Universitário de Lisboa. The University offers unparalleled conditions for the practice of Rugby and has hosted multiple international events including the Athletics Junior World Championship in 1994.

The facility has 7 grass pitches where 300 rugby matches will be played in two days. The tournament hosts 80 teams from four different age groups (U13, U15, U17, U19) and promises to be a spectacular experience for your team.

Tournament Dates

  • April 1st: Departure / Arrival and transfer to the MEO Rugby Youth Festival
  • April 2nd – 3rd: Tournament matches followed by finals and prize giving ceremonies
  • April 4th: Check out and return flight
